Now that we have such a broadly established contingency of various style Living Soil growers here in 2024 (shout out to EVERYONE that helped take over the chem laden bottled nute scene, that was awesome) we’re excited to break it back down and shake it back down to the roots, origins, and simplicity that won over the growers and industry of the time in the first place. We seem to be experiencing some deja vu in that regard, and while we appreciate better ingredients, there is lots of room for refinement. Lets go!
We have opened our forums back up after a long hiatus. An excellent platform and tool for learning and documenting. We added a new forum to serve as the eventual hub for LOS certified community.

A lot going on with LOS this spring! Let us break it down for you🙌 We’ve got the store, the forum, and the certification site going on! The store has been on the back burner a while, since our staple product, The Gas Mix, has been out of stock. Build-a-Soil had graciously mixed this product for us over the past few years or so and now we’re excited to have the space and other new abilities/ tech that allow for us to take over production and distribution. We’re sourcing the final ingredient for the batch of Gas mix we’ve been working on! It’s actually been a massive task that has taken months of scrutiny, phone calls, pouring over data analysis sheets. finding new ways to get things post pandemic is a wild ride!
One thing is clear, it’s a monumental task and in some ways out of reach financially for the small grower who just needs a couple # of amendment product which would cost hundreds to source individually. We have been reluctant to opening a proper store for over a decade, but we see a massive lack of availability of materials needed in this day and age, a shocking find but we are bringing the access . While we highly encourage as many locally sourced inputs as possible, ACCESS has never been more crucial and we’re ready to do our part. We have invested thousands of community service hours into educating on a global level and now we see the need for convenience, demystification of current noise and trends, and for the living soil movement to have a firm definition of what living organic soil style gardening is . There is basically no easier way than to offer direct access to the simple few items needed to transition to or maintain a LOS style garden and offer our educational forums for support. We are looking forward to a revival of our store, it’s been a fun adventure getting it back on track and we love that our whole family is involved with mixing and packaging 💚🌱

We have migrated &/or built from scratch the entire LOS forum several times over- so this is nothing new! This particular Vbulletin platform as been in use since 2019. We are seeing more and more of a need and reason for reviving this type of comprehensive and reference-able platform again, we hope you’ll take advantage of a free membership as we dial in this version!

Its been fun launching the program and connecting with the first handfull of farms, gardens and the people behind them interested in becoming LOS Certified. We have rekindled connections made long ago, met a whole new wave of living soil folks, and slowly by word of mouth filling the spots for our first wave of LOS certification applications. We have both local and nationwide clients signing on, we have both cannabis and non-cannabis related farms getting LOS Certification! We are finding quickly that those who are already dedicated to the craft and cleanliness of LOS style gardening really have very little to do in order to obtain certification from us besides walk through the process and be willing to keep us updated at least once every 6 months. We have a thorough process and standards, but things are so simple, relatively speaking, that this makes it easier on all levels including certification! We are hearing of cert programs bombing or getting cancelled statewide all together because of the lack of funding or loosing funding in the polls, lack of employees, burden of extra work load on short staffed companies, and the overall mismanagement of a non-sustainable entity not gauged for business in this day and age which has apparently translated to loss of cert programs and certification entities, and those left are generally outrageously priced or booked out for months/years. We still have a couple spots open for the first round of certification in 2024! Ideally we’d love to add one small and one large farm to our initial lineup. Once we are full we will announce one free scholarship based spot for a non profitable entity. Stay tuned for all the unfolding! Apply today!
